Finance Controller at Ntice Sourcing Solutions

The Role

My client, based in Stellenbosch is currently recruiting for a Finance Controller to join their finance team. This position will report to the Senior Corporate Controller with numerous collaboration lines within an international Group structure. The main functions of the position will be to ensure support to commercial and operational team in a financial capacity, specifically focused on trial balance accuracy, processes and controls.

Duties:

• Inventory controls and reporting across all storage facilities
• Insurance management and reporting
• Full compliance function for CIL SA (MDM, cessions)
• Drive system and process improvements
• Full function of bank, including implementation of system improvements
• Management of trial balance, including attending to queries on balance sheet recons
• Management of overheads
• Management of non-procurement policy and payments, including implementation of Ariba procurement system
• Full Company Secretary function
• Preparation and submission of VAT
• Preparation of Stats SA reporting
• Month end Debtor accounting, bad debt provisions, accruals, etc
• Analysis of trial balance and BPC reporting and provide support to Business Controller on commentary
• Balance sheet recon analysis
• Management of Fixed asset register
• Transport and storage cost analysis and comparison to accruals/estimates
• Ad hoc reporting and support to Controllers where required.
• Create, prepare and manage local management reporting pack on legal entities income statement and balance sheet

Required Skills

• Strong reporting and analytical background
• Strong problem solver
• Strong ERP system experience, preferably SUN accounting, Microsoft AX/Business Central
• Understanding of complex accounting system structures
• International Group reporting structures and reporting lines
