Finance Manager - Johannesburg at Unique Personnel

Job Description    

• Develop and manage the company's financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
• Provide strategic financial insights and analysis to support decision-making.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure optimal liquidity for day-to-day operations.
• Implement strategies to maximize cash efficiency.
• Identify financial risks and implement risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and contribute to the development of risk management policies.
• Oversee tax planning and compliance activities.
• Evaluate and enhance financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Implement best practices in financial management.
• Coordinate and manage external audits.
• Ensure timely and accurate responses to audit inquiries.
• Monitor and control costs across various departments.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives where applicable.

Inherent Requirements    

• Minimum of 3 years of progressive financial management experience.
• Complete Trial Balance process experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in commerce (BCom) or Commerce and Accounting (BCompt).
• Professional accounting qualification is a plus
• Strong financial analysis and modelling skills.
• Proficient in financial reporting and accounting software.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Effective communication and presentation abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
