An established conservation organisation is seeking a Finance Manager to lead financial operations, reporting, and compliance. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in strategic decision-making while ensuring strong financial governance in a purpose-driven environment.
Requirements:
BCom Accounting / BCompt or equivalent qualification
Professional registration (CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA, SAIPA or similar) advantageous
Minimum 5+ years’ experience in finance/accounting
At least 2 years in a management or supervisory role
Strong knowledge of South African tax, VAT, and statutory requirements
Experience with budgeting, cash flow management, and audits
Proficiency in accounting systems and advanced Excel
Strong analytical, organisational, and leadership skills
Ability to manage deadlines, reporting, and internal controls effectively
Experience in NPO, trust, or similar environment (advantageous)
