Finance Manager at Payment24

Job Profile:

Payment24 is looking for a qualified CA with a Finance Management background to lead our Finance department, working directly alongside the founders. It is a time of considerable growth and activity for the company which presents unique challenges and opportunities. As the Finance Manager, you will lead on strategic financial issues and will have overall responsibility for all financial matters including statutory reporting and compliance. Duties:

• Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions
• Manage the team in Finance Department
• Manage pricing strategy by region globally
• Create & Manage yearly budget for each division regionally and globally
• Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports
• Review, monitor and manage budgets and long-term forecasts
• Oversee financial department employees and manage the internal control environment
• Lead and develop the current finance team
• Contract and liaise with external service providers for tax preparation, auditing and other financial needs as necessary
• Track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement
• Work with management to develop and implement policies and procedures, short and long-range goals, objectives and plans
• Act as the finance leader in the company, providing analytical insight and perspective on matters such as cash flow, sales and unit economics
• Ensure the company meets necessary financial regulatory and compliance requirements
• Contribute financial expertise in the planning of new services that generate additional sources of profitable revenue
• Establish key financial strategies to enhance business profitability
• Monitor competitor activity and stay updated on latest industry trends
• Stay up to date with related business technological advances and the relevant accounting software to be used for financial purposes

Experience:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant
• Minimum 3+ years experience post articles
• FinTech/Banking/Petroleum industry experience advantageou
