    Finance Manager

    Job responsibilities:

    • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies that align with our business goals. This includes identifying opportunities for financial growth and effectively managing financial risks.
    • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Analyse these reports to provide insight into our company’s financial health and recommend actions for improvement.
    • Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop comprehensive budgets and financial forecasts that are aligned with our business goals. Monitor progress against these plans and adjust as necessary.
    • Cash Flow Management: Manage the company’s cash flow to ensure we have the resources necessary to meet our obligations and pursue growth opportunities.
    • Compliance & Control: Ensure our company is compliant with all financial regulations and tax laws. Implement financial controls to prevent fraud and errors (including but not limited to Gambling Tax, VAT, Employee Tax and Income Tax).
    • Stakeholder Management: Develop strong relationships with stakeholders, including banks, investors, auditors, and regulatory bodies. Communicate our financial position and strategies effectively to these stakeholders.
    • Team Leadership: Lead and develop the finance team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge necessary to support our business goals.
    • Investment & Asset Management: Oversee the company’s investments and assets, ensuring that they are managed effectively and provide a good return.
    • Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks, such as exchange rate fluctuations or changes in market conditions. Develop strategies to mitigate these risks.

    Requirements:

    • Proven work experience in a relevant role.
    • Degree in Accounting, qualified CA or any relevant tertiary education.
    • Experience in using Xero or similar accounting platforms.
    • Ability to work independently.
    • Strong management and communication skills.
    • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
    • Proficiency in English.
