A leading financial services company is looking for an experienced Finance Manager with strong financial reporting, compliance, and management accounting expertise.
The successful candidate will support the CFO and senior leadership team, overseeing accounting operations, statutory compliance, budgeting, financial reporting, audits, payroll, and tax matters within a regulated financial services environment.
Responsibilities:
Manage and review debtors and creditors functions.
Review sales invoices and calculate monthly administration and retainer fee income.
Oversee the Financial Accountant and ensure accurate financial records are maintained.
Review monthly reconciliations, including VAT, payroll, income tax, revenue, and intercompany accounts.
Prepare monthly management accounts and consolidated group financial reports.
Manage annual budgets, cash flow forecasting, and tax calculations.
Oversee payroll processing and payment authorisations.
Ensure compliance with all tax and statutory requirements, including regulatory submissions and returns.
Coordinate internal and external audits and prepare supporting documentation.
Review annual financial statements to ensure compliance with IFRS and relevant legislation.
Maintain fixed asset registers and other key accounting schedules.
Draft and manage company resolutions, loan agreements, and other compliance documentation.
Requirements:
CA(SA) qualification is essential.
3–4 years’ post-articles experience in a financial management role.
Previous experience within the financial services industry.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
Experience with Sage Evolution, VIP Payroll, and advanced Excel.
Strong communication, leadership, organisational, and analytical skills.
