Financial Analyst - Cape Town CBD at Flash Group

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Strategy support and tracking 
• Strategy into measurable goals and objectives 
• Lead divisional annual budgeting and planning process, monitor progress, and update forecasts 
• Prepare and present investment cases and product viabilities to GM and Exo
• Modelling Commercial agreements down to a granular level  

Performance Management 

• Setting Division KPIs with GM 
• Monitor and report on Divisional financial and operational performance 
• Identify opportunities for efficiency and bottom line improvements Drive performance by actively seeking opportunities to improve commercial outcomes 
• Deep dive available data to bring new insights to management and put these insights into action

Data Custodian

• Develop, maintain and monitor reports to measure performance (Power BI)
• Ensure accuracy of dashboards and reporting 
• Democratise the divisional data to ensure team members have access to the reports and dashboards they need.

Culture

• Foster a culture of accountability and improvement in the division 
• Act as back up for DFM 
• Working with DFM to find Root cause analysis of exceptions detected

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Graduate with a commerce degree (CA or CIMA beneficial), minimum of 3 years post qualification experience.
• Management Accounting, Financial or Commercial experience will be an advantage.
