Financial Analyst - Wadeville at Solenis

• The individual will be responsible for management reporting and strategic business planning with the aim to support and partnering the Divisions/Functions in terms of financial results analysis, forecasting and budgeting.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare management reports on a monthly/quarterly basis for the local management team.
• Analyze variances against budget and prior year and provide explanations for key variances in the full P&L and Working Capital; ensure understanding and monitoring of business performance.
• Support various functions to drive business by understanding and rationalizing the information requirements and deliver them on a timely basis.
• Assist in rolling forecasts/budget processes, and highlight any anomalies or gaps for review with management. Distributor Margin Analysis.
• Process improvements in closing processes, reporting systems, budget exercises.  Identify best practices to implement locally.
• Act as local lead for the Hyperion suite of applications (HFM, Hyperion Planning).
• Any other ad-hoc reporting as requested.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Business
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience is required.  
• Prior experience in a FP&A role with an MNC will be advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and spoken). 
• Highly analytical with a strong sense of numbers, with a sharp eye for detail.
• Quick learner of new systems and processes.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multi-task while being flexible with changing demands.
• Self-starter and results-oriented individual with the confidence to take risk and partner with business leaders as required.
• High sense of drive and urgency with a positive outlook.
• Ability to implement problem solving techniques in order to resolve internal customer issues and take corrective action.
• Confident and self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently as well as thrive in a cooperative work environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
