A listed FMCG and manufacturing concern based in Cape Town Northern Suburbs is looking to hire an ambitious Financial Controller / Financial Manager. The role is based at Head Office and will have a group view. Ideally candidates that enjoy working from a broader overview than working in detail.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage the group tax function
• Assist with the group automated consolidation processes
• Assist in establishing and improving automated internal reporting on Qliksens (Business Intelligence reports)
• Assist with the budgeting processes
• Analyse and report on financial data
• Financial Management function/oversight for non-operating/commercial head office entities
• Assist with the preparation of statutory and internal reporting documents and requirements
• Ad-hoc assistance to the finance team, as required

Desired Qualification & Experience

• Registered / Eligible Chartered Accountant (SA)
• At least 3-5 years post article experience
• FMCG Industry is a prerequisite
• Syspro and Qlikview experience advantageous
• Presentation and computer skills (MS Office/ERP System)
• Good knowledge of manufacturing (preferably food/beverage industry)
• Driver’s license and own transport
