Festive Season Gift Wrappers at V&A Waterfront

About the Role:

As a Gift Wrapper, you will:

• Welcome every customer warmly and provide exceptional visitor experience.
• Professionally wrap and decorate gifts using our festive season wrapping materials.
• Create beautifully presented gifts while maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail.
• Process payments accurately and effectively.
• Maintain a clean, organized and presentable workstation
• Assist customers with a positive, friendly and engaging attitude.
• Work collaboratively with fellow Gift Wrappers and Customer Experience team,
• Provide basic information and assistance to visitor when required.
• Contribute to a festive, welcoming and memorable V&A Waterfront experience.

• Friendly, confident, approachable and engaging.
• Creative and have an eye for detail.
• Comfortable interacting with a diverse range of customers.
• Able to communicate effectively in English.
• Numerate, with basic mathematical and administrative skills.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively in a busy environment.
• Flexible and willing to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Previous gift-wrapping or retail experience will be advantageous, but not essential.

 Key Requirements:

• South African citizenship
• Applicants must be between 18 and 25 years old
• Availability to work during the festive season, including weekends and public holidays.
• Reliable transport to and from the V&A Waterfront.
• Availability to work shifts between 11-24 December 2026
• Ability to work shifts between approximately 09:00am – 10:00pm
