Job Description

• Strategic Financial Planning: Develop and implement the company’s financial strategy, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Financial Reporting and Analysis: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, analyze financial data, and identify trends and opportunities
• Budget Management: Develop and manage the company’s budget, monitor spending, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry standards, and manage financial risks.
• Team Leadership: Manage and develop the finance team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
• Investor Relations: Build and maintain relationships with investors and other stakeholders.
• Financial Advice: Advise senior management on financial matters and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Oversee Audits: Ensure that all financial activities are subject to internal and external audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Develop and Implement Accounting Policies: Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Manage Cash Flow: Ensure that the company has sufficient cash flow to meet its obligations.
• Training Accounting Staff: Train and develop accounting staff to ensure that they are competent in their role

Qualifications

• CA(SA)

Skills

• Dynamic CA(SA) required
• 10 Years Post Article Experience
• Experience in running a non-listed company
• Strong Team Leadership experience managing a Team of 15 Financial Employees
• Will be required to serve on EXCO
• Reporting directly to Managing Director
