Financial Management Internship at Hantam Municipality

• SALARY: R100 000.00 Per year all-inclusive package.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• A three (3) year Bachelor's degree / National Diploma with Accounting, Economics, Finance, Internal Audit and/or Risk Management 
• Computer literacy (MS Office Package) 
• Competence in at least two (2) of the official languages of the Northern Cape (Afrikaans/English/Xhosa – Writing, Reading and Speaking) 
• Between the age of 18 – 35 years 
• Good people, interpersonal and communication skills 
• Ability to focus on finer details High level of responsibility 
• Accounting and numeracy skills 
• Reporting skills 
• Basic knowledge of monthly reconciliations and experience with regard to financial & supply chain processes.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

• Assisting with the implementation of accepted municipal accounting practice and budget reform 
• Training in the key performance areas of financial & supply chain processes 
• Reconciliations and financial analysis 
• Electronic collection of financial data.
