Financial Manager - Sasolburg at Howden

That needs to be done?

• Ensure that the company adheres to all financial policies and procedures and to IFRS standards
• Ensure financial and internal control systems are maintained in accordance with legislative requirements, generally accepted accounting principles and SOX compliance
• Conducting financial analysis and prepare detailed reports and statements.
• Monitor the purchasing functions.
• Timely, accurate and complete reporting of financial results, analysis and presentation to ensure effective management of the business.
• Adhere to Howden/customer/statutory procedures, instructions, quality and safety standards.

What do you need to bring?

• Qualified accountant (CA or CIMA) with a minimum of 3-5 years PQE.
• 5 years experience in a senior financial management role.
• IFRS, GAAP and US GAAP up to date knowledge
• Good commercial and business awareness
• Sound business acumen
• Excellent leadership, people and team building skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Well-developed accounting skills
• Sound IT skills
• An analytical and enquiring mind
• Good management skills
