What needs to be done?

• Key Account Management: Build and maintain relationships with key customers
• Managing Tenders: Efficient management and preparation of the tender process (enquiry, risks, contracts, costs and submission of documents) to be completed in line with client specifications and in accordance with Howden standards.

What needs to be done?

• Participate in pre-project discussions before SOW is defined and resources are allocated to ensure preparedness. Participate in first-line inspections to determine final SOW
• Plan and interpret project requirements after receipt of production order (data package) in order to achieve objectives effectively.

What needs to be done?

• Project and Contract Management: Convene commercial and technical hand over meetings to familiarise all parties with the terms of the contract as well as understand clients’ requirements in order to ensure that all clients requirements are met according to set standards and within agreed time framework. Ensure that project schedules developed by Project Engineers for each project are correct and are in accordance with the milestones prescribed in the contracts. • Business Development: Compile & maintain a current database of Howden’s installed base in South Africa & SADC region. Conduct periodic visits to existing customers to assess current & future equipment & service requirements.

The Health, Safety & Environmental Coordinator will work in our Howden Fan Mining & Industrial Service department AFM business, Initially the role will be office-based reviewing, revising and implementing our ISO Integrated Management System but will also require travel to sites to carry out inspections and audits along with providing EHS support to site and management teams. The role will also involve implementing and managing ISO Integrated Management Systems to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 & ISO 50001 standards. • Support a number of projects and departments to meet the requirements of the Safety, Health and Environment Management systems.
