FINOPS Agent (SAI) - Cape Town at Maersk Line

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure seamless information flow between Customer Service departments and Global Service Centers (GSC).
• Timely processing and dispatch of invoices to internal and external clients.
• Coordinate and support GSC activities as needed.
• Monitor revenue and cost figures for accuracy in all activities.
• Handle workflows efficiently, ensuring timely completion and continuous improvement in FTHR.
• Address concerns and losses incurred, proactively identifying solutions.
• Respond to customer, CX, and supplier concerns in a timely manner.
• Close jobs efficiently once all costs are allocated and revenue is accounted for.
• Complete RICC controls as required.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of job deferments, taking appropriate action or escalation if necessary.
• Review and update cost and revenue estimates as needed.
• Conduct job profitability reviews before invoicing.
• Meet KPIs for timely billing and attendance to missing billing items.
• Generate and dispatch sales invoices promptly.
• Execute and process supplier invoices, handling workflow efficiently.

Who we are looking for:

• Strong understanding of accounting principles related to revenue and cost management.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar finance and accounting role.
• Relevant educational background in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Taxation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English (both oral and written).
• Knowledge of SAP is advantageous.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and plan work activities efficiently to meet deadlines.
