Firmware Engineer
- Job Type Full Time
- Qualification Bachelors
- Experience 3 years
- Location Western Cape
- City Stellenbosch
- Job Field ICT / Computer
Skills & Experience:
- Firmware development: design, code, and verify
- Firmware maintenance: investigate and fix reported issues
- Embedded systems, microcontrollers, and fundamental peripherals
- Coding standards
- C/C++/C# coding
- Testing & debugging
- STM32 (ARM Cortex M) and PIC
- Python
- Embedded Linux, Android
- Wi-Fi/Bluetooth, GPS, Cellular, LoRa, TCP/UDP, MQTT, AWS IoT
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronic/Electronic Engineering (or similar)
- Minimum 3+ years of experience
- Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
