Fixed Assets Administrator at Fidelity Services Group

Overall Purpose of the job: 

• The main purpose of the position is to ensure the maintenance of the Asset register in the SAP ERP environment and as per the IFRS Accounting policy, including the accurate and timeous updating of all fixed assets and operating leases.

Minimum qualifications and experience:

• Matric Certificate and studying an Accounting related qualification
• Computer literacy in Microsoft office with advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with SAP
• IFRS knowledge
• Must be able to travel and work overtime when required
• Excellent admin and interpersonal skills.

Main duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare daily CAPEX report
• Prepare monthly CAPEX expenditure report (EXCO report)
• Create assets numbers.
• Process all assets acquisition.
• Disposing and transferring assets.
• Preparation of General Ledger recons on the Green line system.
• Reconciliation of the Assets clearing accounts.
• Perform physical verification of assets and assets tagging.
• Take stock of the occurrences at the auction
• Maintain the Property rental / Lease register
• Assisting auditors with year- end and interim audit
• Ad hoc accounting / admin related tasks as and when required.
