Grade 12 National Diploma in Transport, Logistics, Fleet Management or equivalent NQF level 6. B degree in Transport, Logistics, Fleet Management or equivalent NQF level 7 will be an added advantage.

DUTIES
Coordinates the Licensing of Fleet and Cof’s. Coordinates the procurement and delivery of fleet and repair requests.
Supervise vehicle servicing, delivery and support operations and monitoring and controlling Council’s Fleet/monitoring of vehicles tracking system and drive behaviour.
Responsible for the procurement of services and maintenance required Procurement of service parts needed for routine maintenance and repairs
General administration of Council’s fleet – prepare transport forecast needs analysis, compile replacement programme and schedules of municipal fleet Identify and compile financial requirements for all capital needs concerning fleet management Reporting to Council on monthly basis
General administrative duties pertaining to the position Budget management for effective operations and maintenance of the fleet. Perform any other related Ad Hoc tasks and duties as requested or required by management from time to time
