REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12 National Diploma in Transport, Logistics, Fleet Management or equivalent NQF level 6. B degree in Transport, Logistics, Fleet Management or equivalent NQF level 7 will be an added advantage.
• Valid code 08 Driver’s license (PDP added advantage) Computer Literacy (MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent Communication & Interpersonal skills Competent in interpretation, implementation and enforcement of relevant legislation and applicable policies

DUTIES

• Coordinates the Licensing of Fleet and Cof’s. Coordinates the procurement and delivery of fleet and repair requests.
• Supervise vehicle servicing, delivery and support operations and monitoring and controlling Council’s Fleet/monitoring of vehicles tracking system and drive behaviour.
• Responsible for the procurement of services and maintenance required Procurement of service parts needed for routine maintenance and repairs
• General administration of Council’s fleet – prepare transport forecast needs analysis, compile replacement programme and schedules of municipal fleet Identify and compile financial requirements for all capital needs concerning fleet management Reporting to Council on monthly basis
• General administrative duties pertaining to the position Budget management for effective operations and maintenance of the fleet. Perform any other related Ad Hoc tasks and duties as requested or required by management from time to time

REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12. National Diploma or equivalent qualification in financial management, accounting.  Valid driver’s licence. Computer Literate (Solar, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint).  Good telephone etiquette. strong interpersonal communication skills.

DUTIES

• Opening of new accounts: - Transferring water and electricity meters from the previous owner to new owner. Process new water connection applications, create and send the works orders to Engineering Department water section for meter installation. - 
• Issuing of duplicate Accounts: When original account is not received or lost in post. - To ensure that the account is received in order to pay it.  
• Handle all enquiries: - At counter and telephonically. To give the correct Water and Electricity readings, balances on accounts and payments.  To ensure effective and quick services to public. 
• Balancing pre-paid electricity machine and recording:  Balancing prepaid electricity with cashiers to ensure correct balancing daily electricity sales with money. To ensure correct allocation of payments and correct balancing of electricity sales. Perform any other related Ad Hoc task and duties as requested or required by management (supervisor) from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS

• Relevant B degree in Administration or equivalent (Public Management, Administration). Valid drivers’ licence.
• Meet MFMA minimum competency requirements or qualify for dispensation. Project/Programme Management and Financial Management skills and experience.
• Competent in implementation, interpretation and enforcement of relevant legislation and applicable policies. Computer literate (MSWord, MS Excel, PowerPoint & MS Projects).

• Proven knowledge of procedures and regulations of building control and land use.

DUTIES

• Responsible for generating related reports and execution of Council Resolutions. Comment on the legal aspect of applications. Integrated Development Plan and Service Delivery Budget Implementation Plan administration and support. Preparing daily correspondence, tender documents and adverts.
• Overall supervision and management pertaining to admin tasks, personnel and formulation of strategic planning. Ensuring a high standard of report to Council and correspondence to external organizations.
• Drafting of Agendas, attending meetings and compiling minutes. Liaise with other departments in respect of concurrent issues. Oversee typing, filing and copying of documents and reports to ensure efficient and effective administrative support.
• Perform any other related ad hoc tasks as instructed by management. General personnel and administration management. Perform any other related Ad Hoc tasks and duties as requested or required by management (supervisor) from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS

• Basic Literacy or Grade 10.  Grade 12 (added advantage).  Valid Driver’s License (added advantage).

DUTIES

• Performs litter control and any other general labour consistent with operating a waste disposal facility.  General upkeep of landfill and operations.  Help at recycling centre when needed.
•  Assist spotters with directing and controlling landfill traffic.  Assists customers and the public in waste disposal.  Picks up metal and any other sharp objects to reduce exposure to customer flat tires.  
• Responsible to store equipment in a safe manner, after completion of the duty to ensure safe upkeeping of the protective clothes in use during work.
•  Responsible to clean and remove weeds on the pavements.  Responsible for loading and offloading of materials and equipment of the section as and when required.  Refuse removal from households.  Sweeping of streets, sidewalks, taxi and bus ranks.  
• Picking of litter along the streets and main roads, including public open spaces.  Removal of building rubbles from public places.  Empty streets and public dustbins.  
• Cleaning of rubbish in front of building, street, taxi and bus ranks, open space.  Cleaning of municipal buildings and facilities.  Perform any other duties within waste management section as may be delegated by the supervisor /manager.  
• Execution of all legal instructions from the supervisor to ensure productivity and smooth running of the section.  Perform any other related Ad Hoc tasks and duties as requested or required by management (supervisor) from time to time.
