Food & Beverage Supervisor - Rustenburg at Orion Hotels & Resorts

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all food and beverage operations, including dining areas, banquets, and room service
• Train, mentor, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
• Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with the kitchen staff to create new menu items and specials
• Conduct staff performance evaluations and provide feedback for improvement
• Assist with scheduling and staffing decisions to meet operational needs
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification 
• A tertiary qualification in hospitality management will be an added advantage
• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the hospitality industry
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
