    Maintenance Supervisor

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Plan and coordinate maintenance tasks, including repairs, installations, and preventive maintenance.
    • Manage a team of maintenance staff, including assigning tasks, providing training and guidance, and evaluating performance.
    • Ensure that all maintenance work is completed according to schedule and within budget.
    • Maintain an organized system for tracking maintenance requests and work orders.
    • Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance work in a way that minimizes disruption to hotel operations.
    • Monitor and maintain equipment and facilities to ensure they are operating efficiently and safely.
    • Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities to identify any maintenance issues and address them promptly.
    • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols for maintenance work.
    • Develop and implement maintenance procedures and policies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Oversee the procurement of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
    • A relevant tertiary, technical and / or vocational training preferred.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
    • Previous experience in a supervisory role preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures, tools, and equipment.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong communication and leadership skills.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for maintenance work.

    Central Reservationist - Parktown

    Responsibilities:

    • Answering incoming reservation calls and emails in a professional and courteous manner
    • Assisting guests with booking inquiries, room availability, rates, and packages
    • Managing reservations and inputting bookings accurately into the system
    • Communicating with hotel staff to coordinate special requests, room assignments, and guest preferences
    • Providing guests with information about hotel amenities, policies, and procedures
    • Handling cancellations, modifications, and re-bookings as needed
    • Resolving any guest issues or concerns related to reservations in a timely and efficient manner
    • Working closely with the sales team to promote special offers, packages, and promotions
    • Ensuring the accuracy of all reservation data and maintaining confidentiality of guest information
    • Collaborating with other departments to streamline the booking process and improve customer satisfaction

    Requirements:

    • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
    • A tertiary qualification in hospitality or a related field will be an added advantage
    • Proven experience as a Reservationist, Hotel Receptionist or in a similar customer service role
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively under pressure
    • Knowledge of hotel booking systems, reservation procedures, and customer service best practices (Protel, Opera, Fidelio, Knightsbridge etc.)
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reservation management software
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays, as needed
    • Hospitality or travel industry experience is a plus

    Food & Beverage Supervisor - Rustenburg

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Supervise and coordinate all food and beverage operations, including dining areas, banquets, and room service
    • Train, mentor, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
    • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
    • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
    • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction

    Qualifications:

    • At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the hospitality industry
    • Strong leadership and communication skills
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
    • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
