Minimum qualification grade 10 or equivalent (ABET level4, N1).
Ability to read and write. Good interpersonal relations and good communication and numeracy skills.
Must be able to cope with the physical demand of the position.
Be able to work in a team and under pressure. Be prepared to work shifts (weekends and Public Holidays included).
Be able to rotate to different areas within food service.
Be willing to perform all general work related to food service as delegated by the supervisor.
Duties :
Perform routine task in the food service unit. Do the pre-preparation and preparation of food for both normal and therapeutic diets. Dishing up food according to portion control measure.
Perform the general cleaning task assigned to you and maintain hygiene and safety measures in the unit. Operate kitchen machinery. Care and report lost/faulty equipment as well as any observed risks.
Relieve other staff members on request and execute any lawful additional task issued by supervisory person. Rotate to different areas in the food service unit and undergo food service work related training.
