• Your primary responsibilities will be to design and develop these applications, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the solution’s architecture. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Develop User Interfaces: The primary responsibility is to build the user interface based on design mock-ups, provided by UX designer.
• Implement Design Features: Take design files and convert them into HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.  This can involve responsive designs to ensure the website is accessible on various devices and screen sizes, and ensure accessibility and usability standards are met.
• Use Frameworks and Libraries: Utilize libraries like jQuery and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js to simplify the coding process and improve the user experience.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize websites for speed and efficiency, especially for mobile performance. This includes implementing various front-end optimization techniques like lazy loading, minimizing HTTP requests, and more.
• Browser Compatibility: Ensuring that websites are compatible across different web browsers like Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.
• Work with Back-end Developers: Collaborate with back-end developers to make sure that the web-app is properly integrated with back-end systems and databases.
• Testing & Debugging: Utilizing test-driven development practices, where code has integrated unit testing. In addition, test features and bug fix. This responsibility involves unit testing, integration testing, and more.
• Implement Accessibility Standards: Ensure the web-app meets accessibility standards so that it is usable by individuals with disabilities.
• Use Version Control Systems: Use version control systems (Git-based) to manage and keep track of changes in the source code, and collaborate with others more effectively.
• Stay Up-to-Date: With the rapid evolution of web technologies, it is expected that this role proactively stays up-to-date with new technologies, standards, and trends.
