Functions Chef - B&I at Tsebo Solution

• We are looking for a skilled and creative Functions Chef to join our team. This role is responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering exceptional culinary experiences for events, banquets, and special functions. You will ensure that all dishes meet the highest standards of quality, presentation, and taste while adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities    

• Design and execute menus tailored for functions and events.
• Prepare and present dishes to Tsebo’s quality standards.
• Manage kitchen operations during events, ensuring efficiency and timeliness.
• Maintain strict compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Collaborate with the catering team to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Control food costs and minimize waste through effective planning.

Skills and Competencies    

• Strong culinary and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage time and work under pressure.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and HACCP.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications    

• Culinary qualification or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years as a Chef in a high-volume catering or hospitality environment, with experience in functions or banquets.
