GBS COGNITIVE ARCHITECT at IBM

We’re looking for experienced data professionals who have proven expertise in developing innovative data centric architectural solutions using cognitive technologies serviced through a Hybrid Cloud model (e.g. IBM Cloud Pak for Data, Microsoft Azure, AWS) .

You’ll develop and implement first of a kind Advanced Analytics / Cognitive Computing solutions for our clients including: use case and business case development; proof of concept execution to prove the value of use cases; solution outline and design of systems; as well as supporting business development activities.

Strong experience of crafting data related value propositions and solutions is a must, as is the ability to communicate these solutions effectively at C-Level.

You’ll have strong experience in designing and building innovative solutions based on the above technologies but you will also be have the expertise and architectural mindset to relate and integrate such solutions with existing client system infrastructures, such as for example content management, information management, business analytics, existing data lakes, or CRM systems.

Proven hands-on experience in conducting analyses on unstructured as well as structured / semi-structured data and in working with state-of the art technologies in Advanced Analytics & Cognitive Computing will be expected.

Ideally you’ll have applied Cognitive Computing technologies in multiple industry or research projects. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in Financial Services, Government, Mining and Telecommunication sectors

• Proven track record in supporting clients in transforming their data landscape – 10+ years
• Data Science and AI technologies (e.g. Watson Knowledge Studio) 5+ years
• Cloud (IBM, AWS, MS Azure) 3+ years
• Architecture Patterns and Certifications (e.g. SOA, EDA, TOGAF) 5-10+ years
• Data Management and Data Lake technologies (eg. IBM MDM, Terradata and Informatica) 5-10+ years
• Programming/coding experience using Python, SQL, Java, JS, NodeJS 3+ years
• Experience in IT Data Architectures 10+ years
