KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TО)
Interprets IDP and Spatial Planning initiatives into specific projects requirements.
Presenting conceptual framework of current and future interventions (Road Infrastructure, etc) necessary to achieve acceptable levels and standards of service delivery to the supervisor for consideration and inclusion into the department short/long term performance and service delivery.
Presenting to National Department of Provincial and Local Government the Department Strategic Plan to facilitate the efficient management and administration of the Municipal infrastructure Grant (MIG) and any other Capital Grants.
Oversees and evaluates the planning of complex engineering projects.
Monitoring project progress through analysis and evaluation of reports and schedules received from conducting site observations and attending to deviations from agreed specifications and procedures through the implementation of corrective measures.
Providing guidelines on infrastructure projects procedures, addressing key requirements with specialist personnel (road buildings)
Defines lines of communication, reporting and co-ordination with local communities and other stakeholders such as DWS, DOT, Esko, Unions etc.
Communicates with Town Planners, Consulting Engineers and Development on complex technical matters for proposed development projects.
