General Manager:Diagnostics at Mediclinic

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To set the strategic and operational direction and provide leadership for radiology, pathology and precision medicine services within Mediclinic, including the identification of new business development opportunities, and the optimisation and standardisation of existing services.

• Set strategic and operational direction for radiology, pathology and precision medicine services in line with corporate goals.
• Drive business growth and development.
• Oversee financial performance.
• Manage and mitigate operational risks.
• Build and maintain collaborative stakeholder relationships.
• Lead and manage the people within the function.

• Post-graduate business management qualification

• Medical degree

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

• At least 3 - 5 years’ experience in general management, with specific reference in business development
• Experience in private healthcare environment
