Description

• The  General Warehouse Assistant will be responsible for ensuring inventory is processed, organized, and stored. The warehouse assistant will also package, scan, and prepare orders for delivery. You have to be comfortable working on their feet, focused on meeting quotas and  may also operate heavy machinery.
• The Warehouse Assistant will work in warehouses where they receive, unpack, arrange, and store goods, and gather, pack, prepare and load goods for dispatching. requires checking stock for damage and wear, report faults and discrepancies to relevant parties, and mark and label stock.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick, pack, and dispatch orders to meet customer and business requirements.
• Receive, check, and process incoming stock and materials.
• Conduct stock checks and ensure accurate inventory management.
• Verify stock accuracy during receiving, dispatch, and reconciliation processes.
• Assist in reconciling stock discrepancies and maintaining stock records.
• Support the Receiving, Dispatch, Recon, and Inventory departments with daily operations.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Adhere to safety and company protocols at all times

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment, with a focus on picking, packing, and checking stock.
• Strong knowledge of stock control and inventory management practices.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical fitness to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting and moving stock.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Description
