General Worker (Afrimat Aggregates Operations – Dennegeur Quarry – Paarl) at Afrimat

Minimum Qualifications / Experience / Attributes:

• Minimum Grade 9, but Grade 12 will be advantageous
• Be literate and functionally num
• Pre-employment medical required
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Ability to see well and distinguish between back up alarms, voices, and other normal sounds consistent with construction job sites
• Assist with manual labour and plant maintenance

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure that the plant is cleaned regularly and as when required
• Assist with general maintenance tasks on and around the pl
• Maintain the cleanliness of the general working area i.e. cleaning of screens, etc
• Carry out other instructions given by your superior
• Report any general elementary problems to his/her immediate supervisor
• Adhere to all SHE rules and regulations that are applicable on the site
• Acknowledge that Management reserves the right to allocate additional tasks when for whatever reason the task cannot be completed on standard allocated job
