General Worker Stacker at Premier FMCG (Pty) Ltd

Purpose of the job:           

• To ensure that all aspects of the packing department is attended to as per safety standards and operational requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Manually remove materials and products from machines and equipment
• Stack /palletizes finish cases on appropriate pallets.
• Inspect materials and products for defects.
• Date codes each case with the proper manufacturing date /shift on which product is produced.
• Participate in any Physical Labour work required.
• Assist in lifting, carrying and moving heavy loads as required +-25kg.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Fills out finish goods tickets with all required information in a neat and accurate manner.

Qualification Requirements    

• Grade 12 with numerical ability

Experience Requirements    

• At least 1 years’ experience in the FMCG industry

Working Conditions    

• Pressurised environment
• 6-day position
• Able to withstand hot temperatures, flour dust in the packing area.
• Flexible to work shifts, overtime and weekends as required.
