    GPH Education & Analytics Leader

    Job Purpose

    The responsibilities & the impact YOU will have:
    The Education & Analytics Leader will provide adult learning expertise and analytic leadership for J&J GPH product portfolio’s in Africa, which includes HIV, TB, Mental Health, Vaccines, Obstetric Fistula, Long Bone Fracture and Soil Transmitted Helminths (STH). Serves on the Leadership of the J&J GPH Africa Implementation & Impact organization based in Africa and will work closely with the operation’s senior directors, access leads, medical affairs, supply chain, and global marketing leaders within J&J GPH Access Strategy & Impact (AS&I) teams to, build robust adult learning platforms, translate global marketing strategies into executable regional and country level plans, and provide analytical input to support supply chain critical leavers for the SSA region.
    Leading a team consisting of a product manager and two analytics employees, who’s primary responsibility is to design, create and execute educational tools for existing product portfolio, and prepare the market for future innovations (e.g. HIV Long Acting Injectable, HIV vaccine, FDCs), as well as providing critical input into product forecast and stock movement both inbound and outbound in support of government tenders across all GHP product portfolio’s. Role focus is 80% education focused and 20% analytics.

    Education And Analytics
    The main duties and responsibilities of the position are:

    • Lead the GPH Africa education & analytics department.
    • Planning, directing, and coordinating all education efforts from end-to-end.
    • Develop and manage robust campaigns that meets the educational needs of HCP participants across Africa
    • Direct all outreach to target populations and liaison with appropriate community and government agencies regarding adult education services required.
    • Direct and initiate efforts to expand HCP education programs for emerging populations.
    • Train, supervise and motivate the J&JGPH Africa team to engage in education implementation activities.
    • Building brand awareness and positioning for HIV portfolio to enable access in resource limited settings.
    • Support the GPH Access sales team and lead generation efforts across Africa.
    • Working closely with local governments to forge strategic partnerships that will enable product innovation market readiness and access across Africa.
    • Provide input into J&J GPH AS&I team marketing strategies to ensure integrated planning that support a differentiated target product profile and compelling value proposition.
    • Serve as core member of two of GPH HIV fundamental projects within the Long Acting Injectable NPD as well as Digital Strategy teams that will enable the Global business to deliver against critical objectives that will be revolutionary to the HIV industry.
    • Oversee the execution and financial management of all regional marketing and program activities including product training support and congress activities, as well as the implementation and scale of the DREAMS Thina Abuntu Abasha program.
    • Collaborate closely with other marketing and communication professionals in regional or local businesses, or within partner organizations
    • Oversee and approve marketing content of product dissemination activities and communication in line with company objectives.
    • Build and maintain an effective marketing and communication capability in support of J&JGPH portfolio within Africa.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with the external community (KOLs, HCPs, Patient Advocacy groups, etc.) and key internal stakeholders.
    • Serve as J&JGPH local marketing expert for liaison with relevant professionals within the region.
    • Ensure all activities follow J&J Compliance principles, e.g. Health Care Compliance, etc.

    Demand Consensus And Forecasting

    • Evaluates past performance data to forecast needs and demand planning scheduling.
    • Develop in partnership with Supply Chain team, strategic plans to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.
    • Perfect the order rate of finished goods for inbound and outbound forecasting and distribution, in close partnership with the dedicated Supply Chain team.
    • Build and refine the inventory turnover for efficient production planning, process strategy, fulfillment abilities, and marketing and sales management.
    • Foster close collaboration with the Tender Manager responsible for GPH HIV tenders across Africa, as to review the information regarding demands and derivation of supply and proposal preparations and ensuring the inclusion into product forecast in-full-and-on-time.
    • Ensure all activities follow J&J Compliance principles, e.g. Health Care Compliance, etc.

    Qualifications
    We’d love to hear from YOU, if you have:

    • Graduate degree with a minimum of 8 years’ experience in relevant roles within the public healthcare industry.
    • A strong understanding of adult learning principles with demonstrated experience in designing, implementing and measuring outcomes of best in class education events and tools.
    • A demonstrated track record of success within the public healthcare industry
    • Self-starter leadership and project management
    • Build a communication program that motivates the HCP audience and stakeholders in order that attitude and behavioral change is achieved with the target audience.
    • Leadership and people management experience in demonstrated ability to lead a team through troubleshooting and problem solving.
    • Effectively managing cross-functional relationships through collaboration and measurement.

    Preferred

    • Experience in multiple markets, proven ability to partner cross culturally/regionally as well as in-depth knowledge of diverse education methodolgies.
    • Experience developing and managing strategic relationships with external partners
    • Able to define the influencers of a target audience and the relevant insights. Strong understanding of defining insights relevant to the target audience and those that relate to their influencers.

    Travel Requirement

    • 35-50% local and international travel may be required for this role
