Graphic Design Marketing Intern at Wonder Snacks South Africa

Role Description

This is a 6 month contract role for a recently qualified Graphic Design Marketing Intern with an opportunity for a potential permanent position thereafter. It's a full-time hybrid role located in Cape Town, with flexibility for some remote work. The successful applicant will work with the management team to create compelling content and marketing collateral that will showcase our brand and our delicious, high-quality snacks. They will assist in brand building, growth hacking, and developing and executing new marketing strategies and campaigns. Day-to-day tasks include creating social media content, designing promotional material, designing packaging, identifying opportunities for growth, and providing support in executing marketing campaigns. The intern will be responsible for designing graphics, creating logos, branding designs, editing images, and other graphic design related tasks. Please note this is an intern role and compensation is aligned accordingly.

Qualifications

• Recently completed qualification in Graphic Design with a focus on Marketing, Communication, or related field
• Proficiency with Graphics design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite and Canva)
• Experience in Graphic Design, Logo Design, and Branding
• Experience with Image Editing software (e.g., Photoshop, GIMP)
• Understanding of design principles and visual aesthetics
• Experience or a keen interest in digital marketing, social media, and content creation
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills
• Highly motivated and organized with great attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Ability to think outside the box and come up with creative solutions
• Willingness to learn and a team player
• Past projects (academic or practical) working with FMCG products is a plus
