Graphic Designer - (BD-L5.5) at Zutari

Role overview

• The Graphic Designer plays a critical role within Zutari’s Winning Work team, responsible for crafting visually compelling and strategically aligned proposal documents and visual assets that communicates our value to clients.
• This role requires a concept-driven designer with a strong grasp of visual storytelling, capable of transforming complex technical content into clear, engaging, and persuasive visuals.
• The Graphic Designer will collaborate closely with proposal writers, subject matter experts, and market teams to ensure that all visual communications reflect Zutari’s brand identity and support the company’s business development goals.

Role responsibilities

Proposal Design

• Design the layout and visual elements of large, complex engineering and consulting proposals, ensuring alignment with Zutari’ s brand and client expectations.
• Format and enhance proposal documents to improve readability, engagement, and visual appeal.

Information Design and Visual Storytelling

• Translate complex, technical, or abstract concepts into clear, impactful visuals such as infographics, timelines, diagrams, and illustrations.
• Design and format presentations, ensuring alignment with proposal themes and messaging.

Process Visualisation

• Design process diagrams and graphics that explain project methodologies, delivery strategies, and workflows.
• Create custom icons, conceptual visuals, and illustrations to support and elevate technical content.

Brand Stewardship

• Ensure consistent and creative application of Zutari’ s visual identity across all proposal materials and presentations.

Design Systems and Efficiency

• Contribute to the development and refinement of visual design templates, libraries, and systems to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Maintain and evolve visual standards to ensure high-quality, brand-consistent outputs across all deliverables.

Collaboration

• Work closely with proposal writers, subject matter experts, and market teams to co-create visual content.

Minimum requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of graphic design experience preferably within a business development context
• Design portfolio will be required
• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Proficient in Adobe (photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Proven experience and proficiency in Canva
• Knowledge of WordPress
