About the job
The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work which demonstrates their passion for illustrative design. The graphic designer will be responsible for the design and production of all aspects of the marketing department.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the team to ensure consistency of designs across various media outlets
Create compelling and effective designs, print and digital media
Overseeing the design process from brief to end product in the chosen marketing medium.
Conceptualise new and fresh ideas
Conceptualising visuals based on brief requirements
Create weekly and monthly newspaper supplements, print adverts, brochures, business cards and any other business stationery as required
Create emailers, web banners and social media artwork
Photo editing and retouching
Maintain awareness of current industry and technology standards, social media, competitive landscape and market trends
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
2-4 years of experience in graphic design
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills and design skills
