    Graphic Designer

    Requirements

    • Experience with Adobe Creative Suites such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
    • Experience with creating print-ready artwork and preparing files for print in multiple applications (Digital, Litho, Spot, etc.)
    • Ability to work under pressure within a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
    • Proficient knowledge of CMS systems like WordPress
    • Experience in working within an Agile/Scrum methodology environment and tools (Jira, Gantt).
    • An understanding of Software Development and development lifecycles (PLC, SDLC).
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Organizational skills

     

    Beneficial Skills

    • Knowledge of User Interfaces and User Experience design advantageous
    • Knowledge of Google Analytics, AdWords and Search-Console advantageous
    • Experience with video animation software such as After Effects or video animations and adverts advantageous, but not required
    • Knowledge in HTML, CSS and Bootstrap advantageous, but not required
    • Knowledge in ReactJS, React Native and JavaScript advantageous, but not required
    • Experience in working with SQL Databases advantageous, but not required

     

    Key responsibilities

    • Responsible for managing digital media such as LinkedIn, Twitter and various other digital channels.
    • Manage workflow and maintain communication with customers, representatives, and management to ensure deadlines and artwork requirements are met
    • Understand our branding requirements and must be able to create new media following those specific set of guidelines
    • Understand our product specifications
    • Maintain the brand of the team (Website, Social Media, Product Profiles, etc.)
    • Manage PMT brand identity
    • Ensure consistent brand identity across all marketing collateral created

    Qualifications

    • Matric Certificate
    • 3 – 5 Years proven working experience in graphic design and with graphic design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, etc.)
    • Excellent Adobe Creative Suite knowledge; (Competent and confident in using Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
    • Proven experience in designing for delivery of online and print learning solutions, as well as brand maintenance
    • Experience of managing/organising own workload, meeting required standards, and deadlines
    • Appropriate qualification in graphic/learning design or brand design
