Graphic Designer at Xiaomi Technology

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the creative vision for online and offline campaigns in South Africa and other markets
• From an advertiser’s perspective, brainstorm shareable content for Xiaomi’s social media, community, and e-commerce platforms in video, photo, and other formats
• Cooperate with relevant departments to complete product promotions and operations
• Responsible for maintaining and updating Xiaomi’s branding guidelines
• Provide design support based on various departments’ needs

Required Experience

• 3+ years experience in an advertising company or as a designer at a technology company
• Strong artistic foundations; strong comprehension and creative skills
• Good eye for aesthetics, keen visual sense
• Mastery of Photoshop Illustrator and other software; some level of hand illustration ability
• Proficiency in various modes of design expression to convey information accurately
• Good aesthetic judgment and outstanding sense of colour; detail oriented
• Strong ability to work in a team. Ability to cooperate with design teams at headquarters and in different regions to complete projects
• Experience in creative advertising preferred. Must have ability to suggest innovative, suitable creative ideas from a brief, in both static and dynamic formats
• Good English communication ability

Education:

• Degree from an art or design-related institution
