Start-up, continuous and shut-down activities of water plant and chemical plant
Ensure the correct settings and process parameters are being used for the batching and greensheet formation steps
Re-fill of flocculant and anti-foam
Covering greensheet stacks Forklift operation
Conduct in-line quality tests and operational inspections
Responsible for greensheet final quality checks
Ensure that products produced are to an acceptable standard and free from defects
Rejection of poor-quality material
Continuous visual inspection of boards
Unblocking of piping and equipment when required. This may require use of small hand tools.
Troubleshooting operation issues and quality defects
Transfer greensheet stacks to pre-curing area when required (when boiler operator is loading/unloading autoclave)
Refill of metal templates to piler infeed when required (when boiler operator is loading/unloading autoclave)

The ideal candidate must have completed Matric and possess an N3 certificate in a technical field, it would be advantageous should the candidate posses a certificate for overhead crane operation.
This role will require working at heights experience as well as working in confined spaces.
The job holder must have a valid Forklift licence. The ideal candidate should have at least two to three years’ experience in production and have some knowledge on maintenance.
