Group Head of Finance at Snatch.work

• A leading, and established, provider of clean energy solutions (principally solar), based in Sandton, Gauteng, is looking for a Group Head of Finance to oversee all financial activities of the organisation, and have strategic input into present and future solar projects. The role is hands - on, as well as being strongly strategic, and you will work closely with the CEO to ensure project feasibility, and optimal contract negotiations.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Verify and approve all accounting and financial transactions.
• Monthly, quarterly, annual management reporting packs..
• Forecasting and budgeting.
• Drive and streamline internal controls and processes, and perform ad - hoc internal audits.
• Overseeing AP process, and ensuring creditors paid as per agreed terms.
• Audit oversight, and AFS preparation..
• SARS compliance (VAT; PAYE; Income Tax)..
• Payroll oversight and approval.
• Stock management and optimisation.
• Insurance and asset management.
• Determine most optimal funding mechanisms for projects.

Desired Qualifications And Experience

• You will be a CA(SA), or CGMA.
• At least 3 years experience in a senior financial management position..
• You will have sound decision making skills; be very results oriented, and have exceptional time - management skills..
• XERO and WD7 experience strongly advantageous.
