    Group Lead: Total Reward

    Key Duties & Responsibilities    
    Reward and Benefits Administration and Management:

    • Strategic Alignment: Total Reward strategies implemented align with business goals across all assigned African markets, and adjustments to policies reflect evolving business needs.
    • Process Execution: Successful and timely execution of cyclical Total Reward processes (i.e. salary reviews, incentive programs, benefits) with accuracy and no delays, resulting in high user satisfaction.
    • Incentive Program Management: Oversight of the CCBA sales incentive program includes thorough, timely reviews and relevant, impactful updates, contributing to clear motivation and alignment with sales objectives.
    • Benchmarking and Market Alignment: Salary surveys and market benchmarking activities are completed accurately, and salary ranges are relevant and appropriately aligned across markets.
    • Stakeholder Support: Effective advisory support to HR Directors, people managers, and HR team preparing for bargaining unit negotiations on Total Reward topics, with positive feedback on the relevance and responsiveness of guidance provided.

    Total Reward Systems and Automation:

    • System Development and Automation: Progress on automating Reward processes, with measurable improvements in efficiency, accuracy, and data accessibility.
    • System Expertise: Effective use of PaySpace, relating to Total Reward, and other systems for streamlined Total Reward operations, demonstrating subject matter expertise that results in user adoption and smooth transitions from manual processes.

    Adaptability and Crisis Management:

    • Response to Urgent Requests: Demonstrated ability to address urgent Total Reward needs or changes promptly, with effective, solution-oriented approaches that minimize disruption.
    • Flexibility and Resilience: Maintains productivity and effectiveness outside regular hours during critical periods, with accuracy and high output quality even under pressure.

    Attention to Detail and Analytical Skills:

    • Accuracy in Data Analysis: High accuracy in data management and analytical tasks, with accuracy in salary adjustments, benchmarking, and policy recommendations.
    • Informed Recommendations: Data-driven insights and recommendations align with legislative requirements and strategic goals, providing clear frameworks that guide effective decision-making.

    Change Management and Adaptability:

    • Support for Change Initiatives: Active contribution to change management efforts, including engagement with team members and clear communication of evolving strategies.
    • Agility in a Dynamic Environment: Positive feedback on adaptability to ongoing organisational and industry changes, maintaining high performance even as priorities shift.

    Accountabilities:

    • Delivered Total Reward strategies aligned with business objectives across assigned markets, achieving an adherence to regional goals.
    • Successfully executed all cyclical Total Reward processes with a strong accuracy rate and on-time delivery, resulting in high user satisfaction.
    • Managed and updated the CCBA sales incentive program, achieving measurable alignment with sales targets and a favourable satisfaction score from stakeholders.
    • Completed comprehensive benchmarking and market alignment activities, maintaining salary competitiveness across markets and reducing variance
    • Provided timely and effective advisory support for Total Reward topics in bargaining unit negotiations, with a strong positive feedback rating from HR stakeholders.
    • Cross-Functional Team Collaboration: Proven ability to lead and work within cross-functional teams, leveraging collaborative skills to drive People Experience initiatives with internal and external stakeholders, enhancing overall organisational performance.
    • Proven project management skills, combined with exceptional organisational and time management abilities, crucial for efficiently multitasking and prioritising the design and implementation of enterprise-wide People Experience and Engagement solutions.

    Skills, Experience & Education    
    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

    Experience:

    • Extensive experience in Total Reward management with a focus on PaySpace, Reward systems and benefits administration.
    • Proven ability to manage complex Total Reward processes with unwavering attention to detail.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data to support strategic Total Reward decisions.
    • Comfortable and adaptable to a fast-paced, high-demand work environment.
