Group Learning, Development and Communications Manager at Newmark Hotels

Duties and Responsibilities:

Learning &Development

• Design training processes and support material using Smart Staff capability (e learning)
• Implement people development strategies that will ensure all staff have the required skills
• Work with managers to identify areas for improvement
• Mentor and guide managers wrt training resources, methods and skills

People Analytics

• Monthly reporting on agreed metrics

Communication

• Design culture building content for Smart Staff (internal communication platform) that builds engagement
• Design internal communication strategy
• Manage regular culture, engagement and leadership surveys

Compliance

• Oversee the submission of Workplace Skills Plans (WSP &ATR)
• Oversee submission of Employment Equity reports
• Examine workplace conditions to make sure they conform to OHSA standards and implement QC processes
