Key Purpose:

The Impuma Group and Subsidiaries is looking to recruit a Group Operations Executive who will work closely with the Group Executive Chairman, Group Exco and the various subsidiaries overseeing day-to-day functions while finding ways of promoting efficiency and improving profit and net worth. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Group Executive Chairman to set KPI’s for all Business Units across the Group, monitor and support successful execution thereof

• Assess actual performance against standards to resolve whether the business unit is on target to reach goals and take corrective actions as vital

• Constantly work to find the opportunities to drive value and improve operations in business unit

• Strategic thinking and leadership experience with an emphasis on relationship management and communication at all levels within an organization. Facilitate and coordinate multiple deadlines, create cohesive teams, and respond quickly to management requests.

• Build and manage multi-disciplinary functions (process & technology) that can successfully operationalize the end-to-end engagement lifecycle of the Finance and Accounting operations.

• • Actively work with Business Leader and internal team members in identifying and implementing the process standardization, simplification and automation opportunities, and act as a mentor/support for the teams.

• Be hands on, to ensure delivery per business unit as per cascaded strategy .

• Coach, mentor, train and coordinate the activities of the team

Qualifications & Experience:

• Postgraduate Commercial Degree (BCom)

• Minimum of 7-10 years' Senior Management Operations experience including:

• Ability to lead and build teams and built multiple internal partners.

• Ability to build client partnership and work in cross functional teams, especially with relationship and sales team

• Ability to work in ambiguous environment.

• Quality – Lean and six sigma knowledge and quality driven person

• Must demonstrate a high level of self-motivation, energy and flexibility

• Ability to handle multifaceted volumes of workloads and to reach targets and deadlines on a timely basis

• Innovative and always looking for continuous improvement in order to develop succession plan for staff

• Leadership and Management Impact (Board & sub-board committee contribution)

• Strong business, operations and technical vision. Have been successful working across organizational boundaries, bringing together people with diverse perspectives and experience to find solutions.

• At least 3 years have been at Executive level, preferably in the Public Sector environment
