    Group Payroll and Benefits Manager

    The role

    The Payroll and Benefits Manager is a newly created role at Titan where the successful candidate will own payroll and benefits for the group, associated entities and upcoming acquisitions. They will harmonise the benefits across entities and geographical locations. 

    Job responsibilities

    • Calculate, collate, and submit monthly payrolls across the UK and South Africa.
    • Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure accurate reporting, reconcile differences, and allocate costs appropriately.
    • Perform monthly payroll account reconciliations.
    • Maintain relationships with Payroll vendor and serve as the primary contact for auditors.
    • Recharge salary costs as needed and oversee and approve global Payroll changes.
    • Ensure compliance with specific country payroll regulations, accurate statutory reporting, and timely remittances.
    • Prepare P11D's and year-end payroll reporting (UK).
    • Manage and administer the benefit offering ensuring they align with the company's overall strategy and objectives.
    • Research and analyse new or improved employee benefit plans to enhance the company's offerings and remain competitive in the market.
    • Collaborate with the HR director to develop and implement benefit strategies that support the company's business objectives and integrations.
    • Conduct monthly reporting, benefit processing, and ad-hoc reporting.
    • Ensure compliance with GDPR regulations and maintain payroll security and confidentiality.
    • To carry out any other duties as may reasonably be required.
    • Adhere to consumer duty.

    Education and requirements

    • Minimum 5 years of experience processing payroll for multiple entities
    • Experience working with UK and SA payroll.
    • Strong Payroll systems experience
    • Familiarity with the full Microsoft Office suite.
    • AAT qualification (UK) advantageous
    • Ability to balance multiple demanding deadlines.
    • Organised, efficient, self-driven with excellent communication skills.
    • Customer service-focused with a commitment to accuracy and meeting deadlines.
