To assist qualified Boilermaker artisans in response to planned and un-planned work in order to ensure maximum plant availability. Conduct and assist the Boiler workshop which supports maintenance, diagnostics, repairs and installations of equipment as per planned and un-planned workorders. Perform planned and un-planned maintenance activities in a timeous and cost effective manner to the correct standard. Provide feedback to the Foreman on the execution of work for Continuous Improvement and for the enhancement of future planning. Maintain housekeeping standards.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12
Code 08 driver’s license
Above ABET Level 4 in Numeracy and Literacy
N3 will be an advantage
3 – 5 years relevant experience mechanical plant and equipment maintenance in a heavy Industrial/Mining environment
