Head: Campus Health (B104) at University of Venda

Requirements:

 A senior Professional Nurse with an Honour’s degree in Nursing, heath service administration or similar coupled with 7 years relevant experience.  A higher education management certificate will be an added advantage.

Duties:

• Dedicated and capable Senior Professional Nurse to oversee the daily administrative operations of the clinic.
• Manage day to day Nursing operations of the clinical area including coordination of patient care, individual and team supervision.
• Administrative and budgetary management and resolving of problem areas.
• Ensure adherence to Divisional / Departmental and university policies as they relate to nursing procedures, standard and practices.
• Supervise consultations and advice other health professionals.
• Provide a high-quality service that is proactive, and solution focused and responsive to customer needs.
• Coordinate Univen‘s participation in sectoral and national health development and programs.
