Head: Client Data Platforms at Capitec Bank

Purpose Statement

• To lead and manage the data teams that will deliver on the data strategy to develop and share insights to make better decisions in service of clients and enable our clients to make better decisions to improve their financial lives and grow their businesses 
• To manage the Client Data Platform department to create a persistent, unified customer platform that is accessible and available to other systems, e.g. marketing, credit, and to both data contributors and data consumers across Capitec 

Experience
Minimum: 

• A minimum of 8 - 10 years’ proven experience working as a Manager or Senior Level Specialist in a banking environment within one of the following technology or systems environments: 
• Systems Development 
• Systems Delivery 
• Management Information Systems (with exposure to Cloud, Data, Warehousing) 
• Proven experience of successfully delivery large and complex data and technology projects, specifically related to client data management. 
• Business and commercial experience in a banking environment.  
• Linking data and platforms to strategic objectives. 
   

Ideal: 

• A minimum of 12 plus years’ proven experience working as a Manager or Senior Level Specialist within one of the following technology or systems environments: 
• Systems Development  
• Systems Delivery  
• Management Information Systems (with exposure to Cloud, Data, Warehousing) 

Qualifications (Minimum)

• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics or Information Technology

• A relevant post graduate degree in Mathematics or Information Technology
