Head of Assets at Robert Walters

• Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Asset Management to lead the development and implementation of asset management strategies. This role offers an exciting opportunity to optimise return on investment and effectively deploy a substantial property, infrastructure, and equipment portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing financial models, performing financial analyses, and recommending appropriate strategies for major freehold and leasehold assets. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of finance. * Lead the development and implementation of asset management strategies. * Optimise return on investment through effective deployment of substantial property, infrastructure, and equipment portfolio. * Develop financial models and perform financial analyses.

What you'll do:

• As the Head of Asset Management, you will play a pivotal role in leading the development and implementation of asset management strategies. You will be responsible for ensuring optimal return on investment through effective deployment of a substantial property, infrastructure, and equipment portfolio. Your role will involve determining appropriate frameworks, processes, and standards for the acquisition and disposal of assets. You will also provide strategic advice to the Executive Team to support the implementation of effective asset management principles across the organisation.
• Develop and implement the company's asset management plans and strategy.
• Lead implementation of asset management and maintenance programmes.
• Determine appropriate frameworks, processes, and standards for the acquisition and disposal of assets.
• Provide strategic advice to the Executive Team.
• Perform financial analyses and asset management analyses.
• Develop recommendations related to portfolio profile, deployment, redeployment, acquisition, disposal or retirement of specific major assets.

What you bring:

• As the ideal candidate for the Head of Asset Management position, you are a Chartered Accountant with at least 3 years’ experience in finance. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills which enable you to communicate effectively at an executive level. Your strong leadership skills allow you to guide your team towards achieving organisational goals. You possess strong problem-solving skills which enable you to navigate complex situations effectively. Additionally, your strong negotiation skills aid in conflict management within your team.
• Chartered Accountant with at least 3 years’ experience in finance.
