    Head of Consumer Insights & Marketing Services

    Key Responsibilities/Outputs:

    • Expand the traditional credit and insurance client base by identifying and growing, in partnership with the Sales Team, the Consumer Insights and Marketing Solutions footprint into new business areas
    • Identify opportunities to develop new, market relevant products and services using all Experian data sources that supports the expansion of the Consumer Insights and Marketing Solutions value proposition
    • Own the Consumer Insights and Marketing Solutions P&L and drive consistent growth through optimising/enhancing existing and introducing new value propositions to existing and new markets
    • Creating content for Consumer Insights and Marketing Solutions proposals for our existing suite of products which include:
    • Lead generation (hot and cold)
    • Vantage
    • Market Insights Reports
    • Financial Affluence Segmentation (FAS) and Mosaic
    • Assisting the Experian Marketing team with collateral for LinkedIn campaigns, signature banners etc.
    • Develop marketing and product collateral for new value propositions and ensure Sales Team is sufficiently trained to support the sales process
    • This person needs to source, on-board and manage the third-party execution providers across all consumer communication channels, whether call centre, SMS, MMS, AVM, webchat or any direct to consumer communication through consumer appropriate social media or real time WiFi channels
    • Ensure compliance with on-boarding procedures of third parties
    • On-going management of these third party providers
    • Assist compliance with audits
    • Provide a framework that sales/delivery needs to work within in regard to data flow to third parties (i.e. only name & contact number – never personally identifiable info etc.)
    • Provide sales team with a list of Experian “approved” suppliers with which can be used
    • Knowledge of marketing services regulatory landscape
    • Provide the Sales Team with insights and regulatory guidelines in order for Experian to be positioned as “Trusted Advisor” to their Clients ( high-level knowledge of POPIA, Consumer Protection Act, National Credit Act)
    • Knowledge of the use of credit data for the purposes of marketing
    • In-dept knowledge and insights into non-credit related marketing and advertising market (business to business and direct to consumer)
    • In-dept knowledge of the use of data in social media platforms
    • In-depth understanding of optimal generational communication channels and how to execute communication through the most appropriate channels as a service to clients
    • Position themselves as a Consumer Insights and Marketing Solutions expert that supports the Sales Team in achieving their targets
    • Assist sales team with Consumer Insights and Marketing Solutions discussions and opportunities
    • Grow Consumer Insights and Marketing Solutions revenue line together with the Sales Team
    • Develop a Consumer Insights and Marketing Solutions strategy that targets credit and non-credit customers

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Relevant Bachelor’s Degree required;
    • At least 15 years of experience working with the marketing and/or adverting industries, preferably outside the credit industry, with experience in extracting value from marketing- and advertising data as a marketing analyst, business analyst or equivalent;
    • A track record of successful growth campaigns for brands/products managed;
    • At least 5 years of senior leadership experience, demonstrating ability to create and lead high performing teams;
    • Working knowledge of tools used to manage and analyse large volumes of data (e.g. WPS, SQL, R) with knowledge of unstructured and big data tools
