You will be working as Hoisting Electrical Service Engineer and will be the part of Process Automation business area for Process Industries division based in Longmeadow, South Africa. In this role you will be reporting to Hoisting Service Manager and will be responsible to perform service functions on mine winders and provide support to winder projects and to provide technical support to customers to ensure that projects are executed using sound engineering principles and in accordance with project specifications and local legislation
Your responsibilities
Perform the role of service engineer on electrical hoists and provide after-hours engineering support to customers
Execute engineering functions and coordinate engineering functions done by other project team members on large and/or complex projects
Provide platform and/or process support on large project
Assisting the sales departments with technical aspects (both product and process related) during the preparation of tenders
General technical (product and/or process) support to Project and System Engineers.
Providing training and support to personnel in the Training, Service and Engineering departments.
Coach, and having solid line manager responsibility for more junior administration staff
