    HR Officer Employee Relations SF

    Job Description:

    This is a specialist role that allows you to promote effective Employee Relations practice among employees and the employer. In this role you will ensure that systems, policies and procedures are adhered to.  

    Your responsibilities will include the following:

    • Monitoring the Employee Relations process regularly to ensure conformance to and understanding of standards and procedures by clients

    • Liaising with the Employee Relations Manager and Co-ordinator on operational activities

    • Manage engagement structures

    • Attending to disciplinary and grievance inquiries as prescribed by the policies and procedures

    • Prepare and submit ad-hoc reports for Human Resource management or other information

    • Participate in Improvement projects within the Human Resource function and support efforts to overcome operational problems

    • Control discipline and ensure fair decisions regarding Industrial Relations by following procedures and ensuring that stakeholders are well versed in the procedures

    This role is in the Human Resource Department and is at a D1 level reporting to the Employee Relations Manager.

    Qualifications:

    You will need the following:

    • NQF 5 Higher Certificate / Diploma in Human Resource Management – Employee Relations

    • NQF 6 Advanced Certificate / National Diploma will be advantageous

    • Computer literate for the role including SAP HR and Logistics

    • Valid driving license code 08

    • Must be medically fit

    Experience:

    • 2 years’ experience in Human Resources Management (Employee Relations) Function
