    Human Resources Business Partner

    Job Summary

    A JSE listed entity specialisng in morden workplace solutions is seeking an experienced Human Resource Business Partner.  The purpose of the HRBP is to provide expertise, advice and support in the development of the HR business partner process, principles and guidelines, and to provide related HR consultancy services to business; enhancing service delivery and enabling performance targets

    Minimum Experience:

    • Minimum Gr 12. or equivalent NQF4 qualification
    • Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent is essential
    • 5 – 8 years relevant experience

    Key Responsibilities: 

    Process

    • Accountable for advising on the necessary practice approach that will enable strategy implementation, integration as well as delivery optimisation across an internal value chain, enhancing compliance with an operational framework of policies.
    • Proactively identify interconnected problems and determine the impact, patterns and trends thereof to recommend best-fit alternatives, anticipating future challenges to an area of specialisation.
    • Plan for delivering work outputs related to a particular service or operational area, managing interdependent functional activities, and direct best-practice, priorities, standards and procedures to ensure efficiency related to an area of specialisation.
    • Determine information requirements from various business areas, proactively source and integrate interconnected information related to an area of specialisation and analyse and interpret to produce detailed reports explaining trends, discrepancies and inconsistencies for decision-making purposes.
    • Conduct high-level operational analyses and make informed recommendations to assist and support the effective execution of management business processes.
    • Determine resource allocation priorities and deployment of resources necessary to support the effective integration, implementation and improvement of processes.
    • Ensure consistent application of reward and benefits practices and methods to enable the efficient attraction and retention of talent across the organisation.
    • Facilitate accurate placement of people through generating and making readily available reliable data for decision-making purposes.
    • Identify development opportunities in order to close skills gaps, retain talent and build a sustainable talent pipe-line.
    • Keep up to date with new and reviewed legislation, as well as industry developments that may impact the area of specialisation.
    • Provide specialist coaching to key stakeholders, leaders and executives related to area of specialisation
    • Use knowledge and theoretical guidelines to develop, align and implement cross-functional frameworks, practices, processes and policies.
    • Advise on the application of methodology, practice application and integration of related processes, enabling line management and practitioners to enhance value-chain integrity.
    • Assist and support the seamless integration and implementation of HR processes, programmes and related practices into tactical planning and operational execution.
    • Coordinate and manage the team to consult, advise and guide business on the implementation of HR specialist and shared services practice areas.
    • Plan the effective execution of the tactical application of HR functions, operational HR and related processes.
    • Ensure alignment against set standards and practice guidelines related to HR administrative support that is provided to the business.
    • Ensure all employee relations related support to business is consistent and according to standard.
    • Develop and/or align governance and compliance policies for own practice and/or tactical (business) area, identifying specialist area risk exposure liability.

    Customer

    • Provide authoritative, specialist expertise and advice to internal and external stakeholders that builds strong relationships in alignment with the implementation of an engagement strategy.

    Finance

    • Track and monitor financial controls, management of costs and corporate governance throughout an area of specialisation and escalate where necessary

    People

    • Participate in best practice forums and contribute positively to own and organisational knowledge improvement related to human resources optimisation associated with the area of specialisation
    • Influence change by providing mechanisms and support to implement significant changes relevant to an area of specialisation

    Motivate, coach, guide and develop direct reports, ensuring continuous development of human resources, creating a tactical and practice related learning enabled environmen
